Political and civic events have no second take. A candidate’s speech, an elected official’s press conference or a city celebration has to be heard clearly by the crowd, the cameras and the press, often outdoors, often on short notice and always on a fixed schedule. ProSho produces the technical side of rallies, press conferences, town halls, debates and forums, ceremonies and civic celebrations.
Civic events are some of the biggest days we work. For the Macy’s 4th of July fireworks, ProSho gave full A/V support on both sides of the Hudson River, in Jersey City and NYC, with our production partners at PRG, and our sound has powered community stages like the Richmond County Fair in Staten Island.
We coordinate with venues, production managers and city agencies when a job needs it, and plan power, stage placement and load-in around security, press and crowd flow.

What do you need for a press conference setup?
Usually a podium with a clean mic, a backdrop for the camera shot, a press feed mult box so every outlet gets clean audio, a riser for the cameras, and speakers if there is a crowd. ProSho sets it all up and runs it.
Do you produce outdoor rallies?
Yes. We bring outdoor stages, crowd sound, lighting, power and weather plans, and coordinate with venues and city agencies when the job needs it.
Can you livestream a town hall or forum?
Yes. ProSho streams to Zoom, Vimeo, YouTube, Microsoft Teams or a custom RTMP stream, with mics for the panel and the audience.
Can you work on short notice?
Tell us the date and the location as early as you can. We plan around fixed schedules, and our crew moves gear on our own trucks.
