A commencement needs every name read clearly across a field or an arena, a stage that fits the platform party, screens so the back rows can see, and a livestream for families at home. An alumni gala needs a ballroom that feels like an event. A spring concert needs a stage and lights that do the students justice.

Commencement season is busy, and outdoor ceremonies bring weather into the plan. We agree on a rain plan with your team early: a covered position for the sound console, protected power and cable, and a clear call on when the ceremony moves indoors. For indoor ceremonies in an arena or gym, we plan the sound so the names carry to the upper rows without echo.
The same planning works for the rest of the school year: alumni galas in a ballroom, lectures and panels in a hall, spring concerts and plays on a stage, and fundraisers that need a program, screens and a livestream.
